With good reason, this temple attracts a large number of visitors, making it one of Chiang Rai’s most visited attractions! This Temple in Chiang Rai will BLOW your Mind! 😆 Wat Huay Pla Kang 🇹🇭

Today we’re exploring Wat Huay Pla Kang temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand 🇹🇭 and it’s AMAZING! In and around the temple there are not 1, not 2, but THREE breathtaking sights to see! It’s free to get in, and they have the biggest Guan Yin statue we’ve ever seen! I’m sure it attracts people from everywhere to come see it. There’s also a beautiful Chinese and Thai style pagoda with many sandalwood statues inside! and the temple Wat Huay Pla Kang is also amazing to see, with monks chanting, being inside feels so peaceful. Sunrise Hike in Nong Khiaw 😅 Pha Daeng Viewpoint 🇱🇦

Today we’re hiking to Pha Daeng Viewpoint, a 60 minute hike (2hrs RT) from our guesthouse in Nong Khiaw, Laos (about 3.5 hrs north of Luang Prabang). We started about 6:30am. This hike would be a great sunset hike too, but we thought it would be a nice morning hike with how foggy the mornings are. It was Amazing! ❤️ At the top of the viewpoint, we were in the clouds. It looked like heaven! We were overlooking the Nam Ou river and town of Nong Khiaw below, completely engulfed in pillowy clouds. If you’re ever in Luang Prabang, you should definitely make your way up to Nong Khiaw to enjoy this hike 😊.
